The fourth image in my shell series, made by placing the shell in the ocean�s surf and letting the waves create patterns and bubbles as they move over the shell, giving a unique sense of flow and movement to the image. The image prints particularly well on paper with a white base, such Lustre Photo Paper, Watercolor Paper and Photo Rag.

Hi, thanks for visiting my pages. I started as an amateur photographer, was captured by the medium, and pursued it professionally. For the last 35 years I’ve worked as a commercial photographer and a filmmaker, but always created personal work at the same time. I’ve been exhibiting my work for many years, in Washington, DC and now in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love water and being by the ocean, and many of my images reflect that passion. I work in both color and black and white, and try to create strong images that have something interesting to say.
