I'm a sucker for fall colors, and every year I go on a Fall Colors shoot to try to capture the beauty of autumn. Each year is different, even at the same location, in a never-ending variety. Slanting, late afternoon sun lights up the trees and fence, giving the image depth and richness.

Hi, thanks for visiting my pages. I started as an amateur photographer, was captured by the medium, and pursued it professionally. For the last 35 years I’ve worked as a commercial photographer and a filmmaker, but always created personal work at the same time. I’ve been exhibiting my work for many years, in Washington, DC and now in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love water and being by the ocean, and many of my images reflect that passion. I work in both color and black and white, and try to create strong images that have something interesting to say. I was looking at your photographs this morning and saw the beautiful Mountain Meadow picture and then read where you said it was taken in Asheville.
