This image is of sea oats on a Cape Hatteras dune silhouetted against an incredible dawn sky. I loved the cool blue of the sky contrasted with the fiery red of the clouds, reflecting a sun that had yet to come up over the horizon.

Hi, thanks for visiting my pages. I started as an amateur photographer, was captured by the medium, and pursued it professionally. For the last 35 years I’ve worked as a commercial photographer and a filmmaker, but always created personal work at the same time. I’ve been exhibiting my work for many years, in Washington, DC and now in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love water and being by the ocean, and many of my images reflect that passion.
